Position Purpose: The Director of Sales for Medicare is responsible for developing and implementing the strategic marketing/sales plans in assigned segment and market. This position will have accountability for sales staff and will manage the distribution of sales products relevant to their portfolio.
Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required; MBA/post-graduate degree desirable. Minimum five years management experience in addition to outstanding leadership skills. Experience with a full range of healthcare products. Medicare sales experience preferred.
License/Certification: Valid insurance license issued by appropriate state insurance regulating agency for assigned territory required within 45 days of hire. Valid driver's license.
